ISLAMABAD – Senate Functional Committee on Problems of Less Developed Areas will meet here on Wednesday to discuss the performance of Ministry of Industries and Production and its attached departments including Utility Stores Corporation (USC) in less developed areas of the country and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
The committee will be given a briefing over the issue of technological backwardness in less developed areas and the mechanism of training of personnel for industrial work in less developed areas and FATA.
The committee meeting to be chaired by Usman Khan Kakar will be given briefing on the corruption cases worth billions of rupees in UC in Balochistan.
