KARACHI – Yet another westerly wave is likely to enter Pakistan on Tuesday (today) and move mainly to over upper and central parts of Pakistan.
According to the press release of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave is likely to grip upper and central parts of Pakistan. Karachi will remain partly cloudy today, with temperature ranging between 34C to 36C.
Dust storms and thunderstorms are expected at different places of Khyber PakhtunKhwa, Islamabad, Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore and Faisalabad divisions) from Tuesday to Sunday. Furthermore, rain and thunderstorms with gusty winds are also expected in FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir this week.
Same is also expected at a few places in southern Punjab (Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur divisions), northeastern Balochistan (Quetta, Zhob, Kalat and Sibbi divisions) and upper Sindh (Sukkur and Larkana divisions) from Tuesday to Friday.
