KARACHI – Dr Asim Hussain, Waseem Akhtar, Qadir Patel, Anees Qaimkhani, Rauf Siddiqui and Usman Moazzam have been charged by Anti-Terrorism Courted (ATC) for assisting the medical treatment of ‘terrorists’.
The former petroleum minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader was brought to the court in a wheelchair as he recently suffered a paralysis attack.
“The people who accused me with this crime should also be charged,” the PPP leader said as he pleaded not guilty in the court.
