ISLAMABAD: A symbolic protest was held in the federal capital against Indian brutalities in Kashmir on Saturday by Kashmir Peace and Culture Chairperson Mishal Malik.
The movement aiming to declare Kashmir a part of Pakistan is being supressed by India who, unlawfully, occupied part of Kashmir valley for around seven decades.
On the occasion, Mishal demanded international powers to take notice of Indian atrocities, unannounced curfews and shelling.
Former federal minister and social activist, Julius Salik participated in the protest.
Mishal said the Indian forces were using force against the peaceful protestors, killing innocent children and raping women. She lauded the Kashmiris’ determination to continue the movement for their right to self-determination.
